Hello! Welcome to another edition of Around the World with Johnny & Associates! To Celebrate my Man Crush Monday alumni Hikaru Iwamoto and Mukai Koji’s appearance at Japan Expo Thailand this weekend, I’d like to showcase some fun videos featuring Snow Man and Naniwa Danshi (two of my favorite groups) that have newly uploaded Thai subtitles!

5.) Snow Man (พร้อมคำบรรยายภาษาไทย) “มาทายค่านิยมจากตัวเลขกันเถอะ!?”

Fukazawa, Iwamoto, Sakuma, and Raul play a game of trying to guess how the other members answer specific questions like: “If one of the members is late for the appointment, how long will you wait?” and “What time is it when you think you get up early?”

The boys of Naniwa Danshi are choosing their 2023 goals, but not for themselves – for the other group members! For instance, Ryusei Onishi wants Daigo Nishihata to get a camping car because he wants to go glamping!

Miyadate, Iwamoto, Mukai, Watanabe, and Fukazawa put pen to paper for an artistic take on a wordplay exercise with laugh-out-loud results. You can tell that the guy had a lot of fun filming this one – it’s literally fifteen minutes of laughing.

More Naniwa Danshi cuteness, this time with the added fun of a dance battle! First, with their own song, 初心LOVE (which appears on the Just Dance 2023 Edition and Just Dance+ games). Then they raise the steaks and try to memorize other dances!

Watanabe, Raul, Meguro, and Abe must draw different creatures… from memory! The results: Hilariously cute! Also, Abe is a GREAT artist, and Raul has a thing for drawing animals that look like middle-aged ladies!

So there you have it and if you’re in Bangkok from 3 – 5 February 2023, check out Japan Expo at centralwOrld. Who knows, maybe you’ll even get to see Iwamoto and Mukai in person!

More Johnnys soon, so…

Stay Tuned!
