I will be the first to admit that I know very little about male idol groups except those under the umbrella of STARTO ENTERTAINMENT. However, on a recent trip to Tower Records I did discover the group &Team.

A group formed under the creative vision of YX Labels, &Team brings together nine distinct voices: K, Fuma, Nicholas, EJ, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki. Their story (like many in the market) began on the reality survival program &Audition – The Howling. Their official debut arrived with the release of their first single ｢Under the Skin｣ on 21 November 2022.

And while the video was popular (amassing 12 million views since its release it was their third extended plan (EP) ｢We On Fire｣, that introduced me to the group. The lead track music video has garnered 38 million views since its release, 2 weeks ago.

Clearly the group has evolved, in both sound and production value (though their debut was pretty fantastic).

Released on 21 April 2026 the six track EP includes the following songs.

It’s a short but satisfying sonic journey—quick to get through, but packed with enough energy to make it stick. The EP also made an immediate impact, selling over 1.2 million copies in its first week alone.

While I don’t usually venture far outside of STARTO-affiliated groups, this release definitely left an impression—and it’s more than enough to make me curious to explore more of what they have to offer.
