Midnight Motel: Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed this series, a lot more than I thought I would. I’ve never seen Off play straight before, but I love him, and Jan and Mond and Louis so I really wanted to give it a try. I am so glad I did.

Overall the characters are not the most well-rounded, but they are fun. Mond’s Sun has the most depth and backstory. He’s an incredibly sexy anti-hero and a damn good actor.

Anytime Jan Ployshompoo is on screen I know it’s going to be good. This role as totally different from anything I’ve seen her in before, which was a treat. She’s just as good at drama as she is at comedy. The same with Louis Thanawin. Some of the series’ most comical moments were because of what was coming out of Louis’ mouth.

As I mentioned I’ve only seen Off Jumpol in his BL rolls, so this was different and while I kept waiting for Gun to make a cameo (he doesn’t) so. But like Mond, he’s a wonderful actor and a lot of fun to watch on screen.

I am not going to spoil the ending but the series wrapped with a not necessarily happy ending, but the characters (who survived) are on their way towards a new adventure, which is what they wanted. So, it was a good ending.

Neo did however have a cameo and as always I was laughing. He’s such a naughty little imp.
