With the other series I was reviewing having ended (except Ai Long Nhai, of which I have given up on) Remember Me gets it’s own post this week.
REMEMBER ME – Episode 9 – GagaOOLala

This series has no business being this good. When I started it I thought it was just going to be a fun and funny journey to the past. But it’s so well written and beautifully acted.
Gun and Golf are an official couple, with Golf being welcomed into the group with open arms. Nan even jokes that Name should turn the legend of their love story into a best-selling novel of which Golf promises to be Name’s official source. When Golf takes Gun to meet his parents, he is also welcomed into the family with open arms. Golf’s parents couldn’t be happier that their son has found such a smart and caring partner – and they don’t care in the slightest that it’s a man.
Name’s mother didn’t die (as I previously suspected). She just passed out from exhaustion. Em rushes to the hospital to be with Name and makes more than one confession, not the least of which is the fact that the mysterious N that Name has been chatting to online is in fact his mother. She did it as a way to get him to open up to her. When Name hears this he finally starts to speak. He also confesses to Em that the reason he stopped speaking was because he witnessed the death of his father by suicide.
Champ’s grandfather passed. It was a heartbreaking scene, and as someone who was as close to my grandmother as Champ was with his grandpa, I cried like a baby.
Seriously, this series is wonderful.

More Remember Me (and other BL dramas) next week so…
