Naniwa Danshi release new single Happy Surprise!

I love this group. There is just something about them…. from their sugar-sweet sound to their cutesy little Punky Brewster faces. Maybe I am biased (I am), but this group will always have a very special place in my heart.

Their newest single, “Happy Surprise” (released 16 November 2022 JST), is a holiday love song sparkling with the cheery tones and colorful sounds the group has been known for since their Johnnys’ Jr. days.

Released in three separate editions, the group has also included a few other holiday-themed tunes to make your spirits merry and bright!

The group recently released a music video for #MerryChristmas.

In addition to celebrating the release of their third single (after an incredibly successful debut album, 1st Love), Naniwa Danshi is also celebrating the first anniversary of their official debut.

It’s the song that welcomed me into the wonderful world of Johnny & Associates, and I am incredibly proud of these guys. “初心LOVE (Ubu LOVE)”, which means First Love.
