Based on the manga of the same name by Tachibana Azusa, RISKY is a romantic thriller from Japan – a story of love, lust, and ravenous revenge. Each episode is like a rollercoaster into an intricate and devastating descent into insanity.
So strap in, because it’s one hell of a ride.
Hinata Hirose (Hagiwara Minori) lost her sister Kanta (Fukagawa Mai) who seemingly committed suicide by jumping into the ocean. Obsessed with bringing down the couple that drove her sister to take her own life, Hinayana can think of little else besides bringing them down with the flames of her unyielding hatred.
Kanta was engaged to, and expecting a baby with, Toru Sakurai (Furukawa Yuki), a handsome and successful businessman who was having an affair with Mika Kuroda (Yamashita Rio).
Toru left Kanta for Mika after his mistress caused his fiancé to have a miscarriage, which was the impetus for Kanta stepping off a cliff – leaving Hinata to simmer in a stew of her own sorrow.
Proud of herself for stealing the man she wanted, Mika has an unhealthy obsession with Toru and wants to make sure the world knows that SHE is his fiancé. While at the same time, she is flirting with Kouta Asai (my #mancrush Miyachika Kaito) her handsome coworker, who would do anything she asked of him.

What Mika doesn’t know is that Kouta is Hinata’s boyfriend and is working with her to destroy Mika and Toru’s lives the way they destroyed Kanta’s.
But not everything is as it seems and in the last two episodes, everything is turned on its head. Everything you thought you knew, you didn’t. You know absolutely nothing!
Intriguing and intense this sexy and seductive drama is incredibly addictive but sadly incredibly short. With only seven episodes, each one leaves you wanting more.
