We finally have official confirmation of when the newest group from STARTO ENTERTAINMENT to debut, KEY TO LIT will be making their CD debut!
Back in August, Universal Music announced that Taisho Iwasaki (岩﨑大昇), Mizuki Inoue (井上瑞稀), Reia Nakamura (中村嶺亜), Soya Igari (猪狩蒼弥), and Taiko Sasaki (佐々木大光) would be debuting this winter. Now we not only have have that date, but also the title of their first single, ｢KEY TERUYA2｣ (read: Kiteruyatsu), arrives Wednesday, 9 December.
The song is about bonds, and how they help us move forward, together. It’s a fitting way to introduce the world to the story these five talented men have been writing for years.
Like many J-pop groups, the debut will come in three unique flavors.
First Press Limited Edition A (Blu-ray/DVD) will include the ｢KEY TERUYA2｣ music video, plus behind-the-scenes footage from the jacket shoot and the MV filming.
First Press Limited Edition B will feature a documentary music video for the coupling track ｢KEY 2 LIGHT｣ (Theme song for TV Tokyo’s table-tennis championships), behind-the-scenes footage from the debut announcement event at Zojoji Temple, and a variety program called ｢KEY TO BOND 〜絆への鍵〜｣, where the members put their bond to the test.
The Regular (CD-only) Edition, includes ｢KEY TERUYA2｣, ｢KEY 2 LIGHT｣ and two more songs yet to be announced, with instrumentals of all four.
Each edition also has its own first-come, first-served bonus when purchased through participating retailers: a clear A4 file folder for A, an A5 sticker sheet for B, and an A6 photo card for the first-press Regular Edition. A flyer in every copy carries a 2D code for a chance to win a spot at the release commemorative event.
