Ticket to Heaven is arguably one of the most anticipated BL dramas of 2026, thanks to its bold mix of romance, religion, guilt, and queer identity during a time when those things were far more openly at odds with one another than they are today.
Set in the mid-1990s, the story follows Tanrak (Nattawat Jirochtikul, FOURTH), a deeply religious young man training for the priesthood after the death of his parents. He believes becoming a man of faith is his “ticket to heaven,” both literally and emotionally. Then he meets Barth (Norawit Titicharoenrak, GEMINI), a troubled transfer student who crashes into Tanrak’s carefully ordered world like a lightning strike through stained glass. Their growing connection forces Tanrak to confront desire, identity, and the terrifying question of whether love and faith can truly coexist.
Debuting on 30 May, Ticket to Heaven has already unveiled its first official OST track, 「ถ้าสวรรค์ไม่มีเธอฉันก็ไม่อยากไป」 (English: Heavenly), performed by the series’ stars Gemini and Fourth. Written by longtime Thai hitmaker Amp Achariya Dulyapaiboon and co-produced alongside Chonlatas Chansiri, the song is a soft, aching ballad that relies more on the emotional gravity than T-pop spectable.
Built around gentle piano melodies, warm harmonies, and quietly devastating lyrics about love becoming more important than salvation itself, the track perfectly encapulates the series’ central conflict between faith and desire and the chemistry between Gemini and Fourth. Their voices move together with an intimacy of two young men confessing something they were never meant to say out loud.
Honestly, I haven’t connected to one of their songs like this since Gemini’s unforgettable performance of 「City」 by Tilly Birds during the pairs inaugural series My School President. There’s a similar emotional sincerity, but Heavenly does feel more mature, restrained, and infinitely more heartbreaking. It’s beautiful.
There will be more Ticket to Heaven soon so…
