Alright, we’ve hit the halfway point, and I think I can safely say that La Pluie is my favorite of the first half of 2023. It’s sugary sweet, slightly supernatural, and (as of this week) it’s getting steamily sexy!

Pee Peerawich and Title Tanatorn make an adorable lead couple, Patts and Tai and I very much enjoy that Patt and Tai’s relationship has slowly been blossoming over the first half of the series. We already know they’re soulmates – and so do they – but they’re not rushing in to anything. Patt wants to make sure that Tai is ready – even though, it’s clear Patt is ready to get it on. He’s got a lot of green flags, but anyone that good is almost too good to be true. So, I’m waiting for that red flag to drop. I just hope it’s not too bad.

While I enjoy all the actors, Suar Kritsanaphong is one of the stand outs for me in this series. I wasn’t a fan of his last series, You’re My Sky – not because of him, it just wasn’t my cup of tea, and his character was way too serious, unlike the hysterically life-challenged Tian. Oh, how I adore him.

This week also made sure to hit home the fact that Lomfon (Copter Nuntapong), who is set to be Tian’s love interest, is about to cause problems for our lead couple. Just what those problems may be is a mystery, but it looks like it will be something pretty heavy – Could he be whom Patts was kissing when Tai accidentally listened in?

There’s only one way to find out…
