Based on the manga Sasaki to Miyano (佐々木と宮野), this BL anime about Boys Love is absolutely one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.

Yoshikazu Miyano is a short, bishōnen (cute) first-year student who self-identifies as a fudanshi (a man who likes reading about and watching relationships between two men). Shūmei Sasaki is a tall and handsome second-year student who acts tough even though he has the heart of a teddy bear. Sasaki is the first to fall, and he immediately starts to flirt with Miyano (whom he affectionately calls Miya).
The 12-episode series, though labeled MA for sexual themes, is incredibly tame compared to most BL anime series and films I’ve seen. It’s cute, and despite the (misplaced) maturity label, as a starter BL, it’s an excellent series for younger viewers. It’s sweet.
You can purchase the series from Amazon or watch online through various online streaming services, including Funimation.
The series will be continue in the film Sasaki and Miyano: Graduation and will stream later this year online.
More anime soon so…
