With the release of Snow Man’s third album just 10 days away, Meguro Ren, that deep-voiced angel with the thousand-watt smile, is probably having the BEST WEEK EVER as his new film MY Happy Marriage (わたしの幸せな結婚) has just hit over 2.5 billion in ticket sales.
Directed by Ayuko Tsukahara, the supernatural take on Cinderella, based on the manga of the same name, opened on 17 March and enjoyed critical and commercial success.
In this iteration, Meguro, rather than playing the role of a mere Prince Charming (whom he also played in an episode of My Love Mi-Up), is a stern and serious soldier with the ability to control files.
Snow Man’s single Tapestry (タペストリー) is the theme for the film which is filled with “WA” the essence of Japanese-ness.
Tapestry will be one of the tracks included on I DO ME which will be released 17 May wherever Japanese CDs are sold!
