Of three things, I am absolutely positive. First, Rinne Sugeta (菅田琳寧) is one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen (please don’t tell Meguro). Second, he clearly knows this, given the kind of photos he goes out of his way to provide for his fans. And third, I am unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him for it!

Jacob who?

This week Rinne, along with Snow Man’s Hikaru Iwamoto, will compete in SASUKE, the competition series America Ninja Warrior was inspired by.

Joining Johnny & Associates in 2011, he is currently a part of the group 7 MEN Samurai (7 MEN 侍) and has one of the brightest personalities I have come across since falling into this wonderful wonderland. One of the reasons why, I am assuming, is because, as Rinne states, he can talk (and make friends) with anyone.

Who wouldn’t want to be friends with him?

The oldest of 3 (his youngest brother being 11 years younger), he’s very family oriented. Obsessed with cats, his parents are professional cat breeders and at one point they had 40 living with them. At the age of twelve he submitted his own application to Johnny & Associates after falling in love with the company and wanting to become one of the people he was always seeing on his television. His parents were not too keen on the idea at first, but they eventually gave in to Rinne’s desires; one of the reasons being that Johnny & Associates–different from most other top-rated agencies–does not charge trainees for lessons, food, or clothing.

One of the things I love about Rinne (besides those beautiful bright eyes) is how giggly and happy he always seems to be.

In addition to being a great singer, an amazing dancer, and a wonderful actor Rinne is also an accomplished athlete as you can see from his promo video for SASUKE 2022.

I don’t think there’s an ounce of fat anywhere on this boy’s beautiful body – and trust me I’ve looked at every single angle available in photos. Some of which I gladly share with you now.

Please join me, and all of Rinne’s fans around the world in wishing him luck for the SASUKE broadcast tomorrow, 27 December, at 6:00pm JST.
