I don’t know what I’m going to do when this series comes to an end next week. It’s so wonderfully done. Every character is so intricate and interesting. This week, Sou revealed to Tsumugi how much it hurts him that he will never hear her voice again. That the more time they spend together, the more they fall deeper and deeper in love – and the harder it’s getting for him.
As a hearing person, I will never fully understand what Sou is feeling, and neither will Ren Meguro. However, wherever he goes mentally to pull that emotion, it’s very honest and incredibly raw. He’s a great actor, and whenever he cries, I cry. Every. Single. Time.

Still, even as I’m drowning in my tears, there was joy to be found in this episode. Mostly from scenes involving Minato. Whether it’s Nana mocking him in the bar or Sou looking dreamily into his eyes… He is just one of the sweetest characters. He genuinely wants his friends to be happy. It’s beautiful.
Yes, I am still playing their BL Spin-off in my head because Sou doesn’t smile for just anyone like this for just anyone.

One day I hope to get Meguro to smile at me like this, but with my luck, this will be the face I see as nice men in white jackets pull me away.

Oh well. silent ends next week, so…
Stay Tuned and maybe send Kleenex – and saké.

Sou really does smile at Minato in a special way, that slo mo smile was so joyous.
Heartbreakingly moving performance by Meguro, especially in that last scene. His eyes and face emote so sincerely. So sad that he can’t even remember what her voice sounded like, that sucks so much.
It was nice to see everyone be in this episode, got some laughs in with the heartache.
So emotionally invested in these people, can’t believe we have just one more episode left. Going back to my sad corner to weep now.
