In news that shocks absolutely no one, Velma Dinkley, a beloved member of the Mystery Inc team, has officially been outed as a lesbian, by the writers of the new Scooby Doo movie: Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo! 

It’s been a question that has lingered in the air for decades and something even James Gunn tried to announce in the early days of Y2K with his live-action Scooby-Doo films.  But the talking heads of businessmen always got in the way and Velma kept herself (not so) quietly in the celluloid closet of Hollywood. 

That was until she met Coco Diablo.

Voiced by Myrna Velasco, this costume designer / criminal mastermind was too hot for Ms. Dinkley to keep her thoughts hidden. So, now the entire world finally (officially) knows the truth. Velma is Gay!
