This week has been a bit of an emotional seesaw.

The day job was slow, which was rough, but on the brighter side, I was given the chance to try something new with my side gig that could potentially open up an additional revenue stream if it works out. So….

Fingers crossed.

I also discovered some absolutely wonderful bakeries in Shibuya and may have officially fallen in love with Japanese pastries. Between that and getting to enjoy more trips to Kura Sushi, my stomach has been very happy lately.

Creatively, things have been moving forward in exciting ways. I started working on the second season of My Super Fiancé, while Umi submitted the artwork for Volume Three of Season One and honestly… it’s some of his best work yet. Every new piece feels like watching Prism City come alive a little more.

I’m also releasing the first K-pop song for My Super Fiancé this week and I’ve talked with Japanese music producers about maybe adding J-pop to the mix. So… I am excited (more on that tomorrow)

Sunday ended up being a fairly quiet day. My allergies decided to stage a full rebellion, so I spent most of it in bed resting. Still, I got to catch up over drinks with an old friend later in the evening, and that small moment of connection turned the day around in the best way.

I am happy. I am so happy and I have to keep reminding myself of that. Even on the bad days, I realize I’m here. In Japan. Its’s wonderful!

There will be more soon so…

Stay Tuned!
