Nobody balances heart and heat quite like King & Prince. Case in point? Their latest double A-side single, 「What We Got キセキはキミと / I Know」—a dazzling mix of color, charisma, and just the right amount of caliente mucho.

Let’s start with 「What We Got キセキはキミと」, which dropped digitally on May 23, marking the group’s 7th anniversary. It’s technically their first-ever digital single—and not just any release. This one doubles as Mickey Mouse’s new official theme song in Japan, making it the first update since the Mickey Mouse March in 1955! Created as part of Disney’s global “Mickey & Friends in Real Life” campaign in the lead-up to Mickey’s 100th anniversary, the track glows with that signature STARTO sparkle, made even brighter by a little Disney stardust. The vocals are warm, the lyrics are hopeful, and the whole thing feels like a sunbeam you can dance to.
「I Know」 trades Disney sunshine for midnight swagger—and only King & Prince could pull off this kind of transformation so effortlessly. As an insert song for the TBS drama DOPE, this bass-heavy, beat-driven banger hits like the sonic equivalent of a leather jacket that fits just right.
The coupling tracks keep the momentum going. 「Do Dance」 is pure Kinpuri fun—bubbly, danceable, and dripping with charm. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to throw glitter in the air and twirl like nobody’s watching. On the flip side, 「Deep Forest」 slows things down with soft edges and sensitive vocals. It’s quiet, emotional, and just a little bit mysterious—like a fairytale whispered under moonlight.
From sunshine to shadow, sugar to smoke, this single is King & Prince doing what they do best: delivering a little something for everyone, and doing it in style.
There will be more King & Prince soon so…
