It’s no secret that I’m a MASSIVE SixTONES fan. Like, ride-or-die, playlist-on-repeat, “just take my money already” kind of fan. I’ve yet to hear a single track from them that I don’t fall in love with. But every now and then, a song drops that doesn’t just sound amazing—it feels amazing. The type of song that  reaches out, grabs your heart, and reminds you why you fell in love with music in the first place.

That’s exactly the kind of emotional resonance SixTONES delivers with their brand new rock-anthem, ｢Stargaze｣.

Written and produced by Yojiro Noda (RADWIMPS), it’s a semi-biographical tribute to SixTONES themselves, a song that paints their journey from struggling juniors to chart-topping icons. Every note is charged with growth, grit, and grace, delivered with that unmistakable SixTONES edge that makes you feel the music.

Capturing the essence of youth, ambition, and unshakable friendship, ｢Stargaze｣ couldn’t be more fitting as the official support song for the 45th National High School Quiz Championship on Nippon TV.

“I feel that I have been working on the song for SixTONES for quite some time,”Noda ays of the song. “I’ve been waiting for the right time to do it, and until I had a song that I could proudly present to the members of SixTONES. I’m very happy to be able to work with them on the song ｢Stargaze｣.

“I developed the song by delving into the history of the SixTONES group and the relationships between the members, imagining the path we have taken and the story that lies ahead.” He continues. “I was also told that the song was a tie-up for the “High School Quiz”, so I created it while imagining the moment of victory and the big stage with my friends. I listen to the finished song every day. It gives me goosebumps many times. Although I wrote this song myself, each of the six of us put as much of our inner passion and emotion into it as we could, and I feel that they sublimated this song to a place I didn’t know existed.”*

This one’s for the dreamers. So turn it on and  turn it up.
