Ever since Vice Versa Jitaraphol Potiwihok (Jimmy) and Tawinan Anukoolprasert (Sea) have been two of my favorites at GMMTV. They’re both great actors and have perfect chemistry. So, needless to say, Last Twilight has been one of the BL series I’ve been most looking forward to in 2023.

Directed by Noppharnach Chaiyahwimhon (Aof) Jimmy stars as Mhork, a mechanic, fresh out of parol without a penny to his name, or anyone he can count on, besides his ex-girlfriend Phojai (Tipnaree Weerawatnodom, Namtan). Sea is Day, a national athlete and the son of a world-famous chef, who after a car accident is slowly going blind. Much to the dismay of his mother and older brother, Night (Pakin Kunaanuwit, Mark), Day hires Mhork to be his caregiver, after the latter refuses to show him any pity, just because he’s blind. 

The series hooked me right away. I loved the dueling scenes that show the differences between the lives Day and Mhork have lived. After the fight that landed Mhork in jail, he learns that his older sister, the only other family he had left in the world, has committed suicide. While, day, who’s in the middle of a badminton tournament starts to lose his eyesight. While Day’s friends and family care for him, Mhork has no one. 

I get the feeling this is going to be an emotional series. But I’m here for it. I am excited.
