The ship of Archen Aydin (Joong) and Natachai Boonprasert (Dunk) set sail in 2022 with the release of the GMMTV comedy drama Star & Sky and it quickly breezed past the company’s other ships to become a fan favorite. While their characters from Star & Skyy appeared in the second season of the anthology series Our Skyy – which gives a glimpse into the lives of the characters after “ever after,” the couples follow up series was right around the corner.

Hidden Agenda.

Adapted from the novel Wara Son Ren (วาระซ่อนเร้น) by Dezair, Zo (Dunk) decides to FINALLY start pursuing his long-time crush Nita (Juthapich Indrajundra). However, he’s incredibly shy, and awkward. So, to woo her, he asks her ex-boyfriend Joke (Joong), for dating advice. Joke agrees to help him in exchange for a place in the debate club. Or, at least, that’s what he tells Zo.

But, as the title suggests Joke has a hidden agenda – and it’s to win Zo’s heart.

Okay. So it’s not the most original plot in the world, but the series is fun. Dunk is a little bit sassier as Zo than he was as Daonuea in Star & Sky, which is enjoyable. Joke also feels a bit more mischievous than Khabkluen, but Joong always has this strong and silent type of aura about him. The series also stars Louis Thanawin and AJ Chayapol as Zo’s two best college buds as well as Pod Suphakorn as one of Zo’s seniors and Aou Thanaboon as Joke’s cousin Jeng – so there’s no shortage of GMMTV star power (or eye candy).

Bundit Sintanaparadee (Tee) has done a lot of my favorite series including TharnTypeLovely Writer, and Something in My Room – just to name a few. He’s got a distinct style, that’s a bit more rough around the edges than I’ve seen from GMMTV before. His series are a lot more relaxed and real, so I am excited to see where this series goes.

Hidden Agenda streams Sundays on the official GMMTV YouTube page.

More from this series soon so…
