Late last year, when JPOP idol group King & Prince announced that three members would be leaving the popular quintet, fans were understandably emotional. Since debuting in 2018, the group has been a beloved staple of Johnny & Associates. However, with their newest single “Life goes on”, the guys are reassuring everyone that “everything will be alright!”
The fun but bittersweet track is a love letter to all the fans who have continued to support them as they face the future and all that it brings.
The lead track off of a double A-side single, it also serves as the ending theme to 夕暮れに、手をつなぐ (Holding Hands at Dusk) which stars group member Ren Nagase and airs Tuesday nights at 10pm JST on Japanese broadcaster TBS.
The single will drop on 22 February and will also include the tracks “We Are Young ” and “Night Drive Groovin.” It’s the second volume of their ongoing “Dear Tiara” initiative for the fans leading to the close of their anniversary year in May, at which time Sho Hirano, Yuta Jinguji, and Yuta Kishi will officially leave the group.
Nagase will remain with the group as a duo alongside Kaito Takashi.
More King & Prince soon so… Stay Tuned!
