Just when I think the boys of Naniwa Danshi couldn’t get any more adorable, they go and release their 4th single “Special Kiss”! 

An upbeat anthem that celebrates the beauty of youth and love, it’s catchy and cute and accentuates the cotton-candy sweet personalities of each one of the guys, especially Kyohei Takahashi.

“We are all really happy with how ‘Special Kiss’ turned out!” He says with a wide, happy smile. “Not only is getting to share a new single with our fans always a reason to celebrate, this one is the theme song to my first solo starring movie And Yet, You Are So Sweet.” 

The film will hit theaters on 3 March.

“My character in the movie is a high schooler, so a bit younger than I am really” he continues, “but the age difference I think makes me appreciate what he goes through to understand the excitement and bitterness of figuring out what love is. That’s the main theme to ‘Special Kiss’ as well, and it was super fun to see how the other guys played it out in their solo scenes for the music video! 

It’s the perfect song to enjoy with your own special someone, or just between you and your favorite Naniwa Danshi member!

The official music video. released on 31 January at 728 pm JST (a pun in Japanese with “na-ni-wa”), features each one of the guys in the place where they feel the most romantic and relaxed.   

The physical single will drop on 8 March, and come in three separate editions just in time to welcome the spring!
