As one of Japan’s most popular music groups, Snow Man have long mastered the art of entertaining their fans. With their latest digital single 「Odorouze!」 (English: “Let’s Dance!”), the nine-member group leans fully into that spirit of joy and playfulness.

In other words, it’s happiness in the form of sound.

Featured as the theme song for the theatrical release The Specials, starring group member Daisuke Sakuma, the track celebrates finding happiness in everyday life. Even the most mundane moments can be transformed through laughter, turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.

Something Snow Man does every time they release a new song.

The accompanying music video is bright, colorful, and infused with Snow Man’s signature brand of musical magic. Filmed before member Ren Meguro temporarily stepped back from group activities to star in the second season of FX’s Shōgun, the velvet-voiced heartthrob delivers some of the video’s most charmingly comedic moments – and as usual, he’s absolutely adorable while doing so.

The release reminds me of  the exuberant spirit of the their 2022 hit 「ブラザービート」 (English: “Brother Beat”), which is one of their most beloved tracks.

In The Specials, an action-comedy written and directed by Eiji Uchida (Midnight Swan, 2020), Sakuma makes his first solo leading role as a legendary assassin who can only reach his latest mark by winning a group dance competition. Which he does with other assassins.

「Odorouze!」 is available now on digital platforms worldwide. The Specials opens nationwide in Japan on March 6.

There will be more Snow Man soon so…
