Released on 12 November, timelesz’s first single as an eight member group (28th over all) shows a group ready to change the world- and it’s a double A-side!

Steal The Show / レシピ

Steal The Show
Where the group’s debut single 「Rock This Part」 was the Summer Fun Anthem of Summer ’25, this is the perfect anthem for this new era of the group — and the perfect choice as the Nippon TV Basketball Support Song, capturing the Japanese national basketball team’s determination to “amaze the world.” At the same time, it shows timelesz’s tireless determination to step into the international spotlight they’ve worked hard to earn their place in.

レシピ 」(English: Recipe)
The theme for the TV Asahi drama Oshidora Saturday: Papa and Daddy’s Home Cooking, there is a sweetness to this pop track. The series (which is sadly NOT a BL) stars two timelesz group members: So Matsushima (in his first leading role) and Shuto Inomata in his first television appearance!

Limited Nights
My favorite from the single, it’s a song about the passion of those immature midnight feelings — about living in the moment — and enjoying your time, even if it’s just for a night. It’s one of the group’s sexier songs and feels more like the standalone ending theme of an anime-type single than a coupling track.

かりそめの言葉」 (English: Fleeting Words)
While the previous track was about the thrill of a passion not meant to endure, this track longs for the love that might have been. It’s a song about memory, regret, and the emotional aftermath of love lost.

ピアノフォルテ
I love the resurgence of disco that STARTO artists have been playing with lately. It’s playful, it’s sexy — it’s just a really great song – and another favorite from the release.

Countdown
Keeping up the disco drive and adding a pinch of that sexy timelesz spice. I also love that it was released just a month before the group joined many other STARTO acts for the first Countdown performance since before the pandemic – which I enjoyed even more than I thought I would! You can read my review here.

While all STARTO artists’ “singles” include multiple songs, this release truly feels more like an EP than a single – even if it is a double A-side. The group plays with sound, emotion, and energy, while maintaining a clear through line: they’re ready to change the world. There’s a confidence in their sound that shows they’re not just boys having fun (even though they absolutely are), but serious artists as well — and honestly, who wouldn’t want eight beautiful men who can deliver both with the effortless charm and sex appeal as easily as timelesz?

There will be more reviews soon so…
