My Dearest Gentle Reader,
Let us slip back into th familiar pastels of a simpler, more beautiful time — that delicious space of anticipating just before the orchestra swells — because at long last, the carriages have rolled back onto our screens and the Netflix is once again alive with the whispers, waltzes, and soft shimmer of candlelit.
After what feels like ages, that swoosh of Edwardian silks catching the sun – that thrill of old-money scandal, and of course the steam of love, lust, and everything in between from my favorite Shondaland production has returned!
Penelope Bridgerton (née Featherington), long our wallflower-in-waiting, takes her first steps from the soft shadows of the ballroom to take the spotlight – which actress Nicola Coughlan truly (and absolutely) deserves.

This year appears to be a bit of a Cinderella story, which honestly seems like it’s going to be very interesting and newcomer (to the series) Yerin Ha as Sophie Beckett is absolutely delicious!

The music is (as always) superb, the costumes are brilliant and the story is as engaging as any fairytale one can escape to.
Whilst I have only just finished episode one of season four, I am well and truly captivated by this years story and cannot wait to see where it goes! There will be more soon so…
Stay Tuned!
