On Friday, 19 December, two major milestones in my career arrive at once: the release of my first brand-new song in five years,｢PEGASUS｣ and the first physical release of my Boys’ Love series My Super Fiancé!
Volume One collects the first three episodes of the series into a single paperback edition, featuring even more artwork from Umi Rage, along with additional character notes and exclusive images created especially for this release.
EPISODE ONE: ｢Shadows of the Night｣
Trevor Prince is the most intrepid reporter in Prism City, but when his newest scoop lands him in the middle of human trafficking operation, his has no choice but to call on the help of his fiancé, Cole Carter who double’s as the City’s most mysterious superhero MoonShadow.
The episode introduces readers to the main ship Cole and Trevor as well as the story’s main antagonist, The Grand Duchess Giselle de Barbarac.
The episode also features the original Thai Theme song ｢Love Chaos｣ from Mek Jirakit, an actor and lead singer of the rock band S4INT AFTER SIX.
EPISODE TWO: ｢OUTRAGEOUS!｣
After a morning row with their homophobic neighbor, Mr Brindle, Trevor is assigned a story about the Prism City debut of the rising J-pop band NAMBAboys. The only problem is that their debut is at Starlight Estate, the home of The Gand Duchess.
To their surprise, the Grand Duchess gives Cole a pair of historical earrings that belonged to the legendary Empress Kagubi – the planet’s first spectral.
Themed after the music of Jem and the Holograms, episode two also introduces The Family – a dangerous new villain.
EPISODE THREE: ｢NEW RULES｣
After he’s released from custody, Cole and Trevor return home to their loft. But the peace and quiet is short-lived, when The Powers called him to the citadel of Spectra – the hub of supernatural energy, to help them quench a fire on Celadon island, and a prison for the criminally insane spectrals, Celadon Heights. It’s the one place they have no power. Once the fire, and the monster who started it are defeated, Cole is lead to the basement by a mysterious spectral where he finds remnants of a nazi-era experiment long since thought erased from history.
Themed after the music of Dua Lipa, episode three rounds out Volume one with a major mystery!
Volume One: Hero Interrupted will be available in paperback form through Amazon print on demand, featuring additional art by UmiRage.
The book will also feature simple character designs and biographies for the characters. New episodes of My Super Fiancé will return in February on Substack with two new soundtrack songs released in January!
