Today marks the release of the second episode of My Super Fiancé OUTRAGEOUS!

The episode opens with Trevor still reaching for the right words to describe the terror of facing human traffickers and the relief of being lifted out of the dark by MoonShadow. He knows how important the piece is to his editor – Periwinkle Black, so it has to be perfect. Once finish, Cole decides to take him out for a burger to celebrate.

But peace is short-lived. The couple soon finds themselves cornered by their homophobic neighbor, Mr. Brindle, a man determined to scrub them from his “peaceful” complex. When he tries to get physical with Trevor Cole steps in, and as a result Brindle ends up breaking his own wrist.

Meanwhile, The Grand Duchess is tightening her velvet-gloved grip on a different plan—her mission to unmask MoonShadow once and for all. Her moment arrives when Trevor is assigned to cover the debut performance of rising J-pop sensations NAMBAboys at her glittering Champagne Gala.

Amid the music and mirrors, she and her attendant finally recognize Cole for what he is: a spectral. But the revelation comes only after she shares the legend of the Lotus Flowers earrings of Empress Kagubi—and then gifts Cole the mystical earrings themselves.

But, the sweetness of the evening is shattered when, as the couple arrive home, Cole is arrested. Brindle has falsely accused him of assault.

Threaded through the neon bubblegum sound of Jem and the Holograms, episode two introduces audiences to  Klue. Hired as the Daily Wave’s newest photographer, he’s a wildcard with a mischievous lens and a style inspired by Travis Japan’s  Kaito Nakamura (aka, Umi). He’s more than he lets on, and developing him has been nothing short of fun.

You can read episode two on Digital Fabulists’ official Substack and Read-A-Write through MEB!
