In preparation for their third studio album on 3 December 2025, Travis Japan have unveiled new recordings of three previously released songs, originally recorded last year while group member Noel was on hiatus. With the Brain Tiger back and better than ever, the sound feels richer, the balance more natural — and the guys are back to that old TJ magic!

These aren’t remixes; they’re restorations — songs finally heard as they were always intended.

「Say I do」

Upon its initial release, I called the song a romance-coated confection of pure cuteness — a sweeter, pop-perfect cousin to 「Candy Kiss」. The new version takes that foundation and deepens it. Noel’s voice threads through the harmonies, adding warmth and emotional lift— the sound of a group rediscovering its full balance.

「Tokyo Crazy Night」

The pulse of my favorite city in the world, captured in song. Back when it dropped as part of the group’s first double A-side single, I described it as sleek, sexy, and undeniably addictive. The complete version allows those neon lights to shine brighter, the rhythm to hit harder, and the chorus to finally lands with the full-throttle energy that can only come from seven tigers roaring in sync. It’s the same late-night anthem, only now it breathes bigger, bolder air.

「Would You Like One?」

Closes the set with pastel playfulness. Released as a tie-in to group member Genta Matsuda’s animated film Dream Animals THE MOVIE, the track (and its accompanying music video) remains one of my favorites from the group — and Noel’s voice only adds to its strength and sparkle.

As we head toward the album’s December 3 release, these three tracks serve as both reminder and promise — a glimpse of the chemistry that’s carried them this far, and a hint of the new energy yet to come.

The past was strong.

The present is stronger.

The future is about to get loud — so…

Stay tuned!
