In a remarkable show of unity and support, fans from across STARTO groups have come together in solidarity for Ae! group (Aぇ! group) member Keita Richard Kusama (草間リチャード敬太), currently on hiatus following a minor public incident last Saturday. An organic letter writing campaign, initiated on the group’s Discord fan community, is encouraging participants to send messages of encouragement and positivity to Richard and his fellow group members.

Super-star fans even provided a detailed guide outlining how to participate, with an emphasis on keeping messages simple, especially for those writing in English, and focusing on sharing kindness and support.

To the  Ae! group fans that originated this campaign, you’ve done a beautiful thing, thank you for allowing me to spread this message of support. He’s a good man, and I know he’ll appreciate hearing from his fans all over the world. So, thank you.
