It’s a tale as old as time… True love is magical — and there’s no one who blends music and magic quite as seamlessly as the reigning kings of J-pop, Snow Man.

Their newest single is an exploration of love itself — the emotions that deepen as you continue to fall for that special someone, and the moment you realize it’s truly…
「TRUE LOVE」
As the lead track from their fifth studio album, the song is sprinkled with that signature Snow Man sparkle: pop-rock fused with dance and just a dash of hip-hop for flavor, all delivered with the kind of emotional punch that proves why they wear the crown of their genre. The music video sees the group taking the stage for a play that pays homage to some of theatre’s most beloved romances. Because, if there’s anywhere Snow Man is at home it’s a stage – with multiple members starring in various productions like Iwamoto in his two-time starring role as Frank Abagnale Jr. in the Japanese production of Catch Me if You Can.

What I love most about the group, though, isn’t just their sound. Don’t get me wrong — I do love it — but I love how they balance being idols at the top of their craft (and literal sex symbols) with a willingness to be delightfully goofy. They embrace humor as a tool that only makes them more charming.
How could you not fall in love with Miyadate and Watanabe recreating the famous deck scene from Titanic? Or Iwamoto going from mortal enemy to the love of Meguro’s life (cue the fanfiction, please)?
Because love isn’t just about the sexy. I’ve fallen deeper in love after a night of laughter than through any other kind of intimacy. I guess laughter is my love language.
Dropping on 5 November you can pre-order 「ONKOCHISHIN」 wherever Japanese music and movies are sold, including CD JAPAN.
there’s plenty more Snow Man magic on the horizon.
Stay tuned!
