When it comes to K-pop boy groups, I honestly think ZEROBASEONE (제로베이스원) reign supreme. Their energy, their style, and—most importantly—their sound just completely captivate me.

I’m not dismissing other groups out there—but ZB1 has something special that pulls me in. I’ve bought every digital release and music video, and during my last visit to Tower Records in Shibuya, I couldn’t resist picking up at least two physical copies—namely their first mini-album and the latest Cinema Paradise. That album? Absolutely solid, and I’m all in for the fun extras. On my next trip, I’m getting more for sure—starting with their first full-length album, Never Say Never, without a doubt.

From start to finish, the album delivers ten tracks of fun, uplifting energy with just the right dash of sex appeal.

ICONIK」 kicks things off with a banger—the visuals, the hook—it’s the perfect way to start an album. Across the net, many fans are calling this their twilight / disbanding track since their contract is coming to an end. I hope not. I hope it’s the opposite and the start of a brand-new era for the group.

SLAM DUNK」 follows up with a spicy rhythm, right on the edge of sexy without going overboard. A fusion of EDM and hip-hop, with the added splash of game-day sounds like bouncing balls and squeaking sneakers, it’s an anthem.

Extra」 is by far the sexiest track on the album. The animation that accompanies the official audio video is charming and unique.

Love Anthem 「Star Eyes」 is probably my favorite track on the album. It’s just one of those love songs that just makes you smile.

Since their formation, ZB1 has consistently delivers vibrant, magical music that gets stuck in your head—and keeps you coming back for more.

There will be more ZB1 soon so…

Stay Tuned!
