Episode 2 of GMMTV’s newest BL gem, Memoir of Rati (จาฤกรติชา), lets its slow-burn tension simmer with the kind of soft, glowing beauty that makes it nearly impossible to turn away from.Breathing delicately and deliberately—drawing us deeper into its world.
It’s gorgeous.
The relationship between Rati and his household staff remains one of the show’s quietest triumphs. Their warmth, wit, and loyalty ground the story with genuine heart. These aren’t just side characters for comic relief—they’re the soul of Rati’s world, and you can feel in your bones that they’ll play a bigger role in the emotional unraveling to come.
On the other side of the divide, Thee’s carefully curated life is beginning to crack. Gossip swirls around his growing closeness to Rati, stoking pressure from his grandmother to marry—quickly, and correctly. There’s an elegant discomfort to it all, a restrained panic that simmers just beneath the polite smiles and practiced bows. Thee is a man quietly drowning under the weight of societal expectation, and you can see it—every time he looks at Rati like he’s a lifeline.
Meanwhile, Mek and Dech return with their own subplot that dances beautifully between comedy and commentary. Mek meeting Dech in a boxing match, Dech confronting Mek about a suspicious smell (possibly betel nut?) is both ridiculous and endearing.
Visually, the series continues to be a dream. From temple walks to lotus-lined rivers, every frame feels like a painting. The natural beauty isn’t just scenic—it’s intentional, echoing the emotional stillness and spiritual undercurrents just waiting to break the surface.
Episode 2 is tender. It’s poetic. And it’s already planting the seeds of heartbreak in the most exquisite way. I’m spellbound—and I can’t wait to see where this story goes next.
There will be more soo so…
