When I clicked play on Netflixâs latest animated feature, K-Pop Demon Hunters, I wasnât totally sure what to expect. Stylish? Probably. Silly? Maybe. A full-on musical thrill ride? I didnât see that coming. The film itself is cuteâquirky, colorful, and packed with charmâbut the soundtrack?
FIERCE.
This isnât just a collection of pop songs slapped onto a movieâitâs a tightly crafted, high-energy, incurably well-written soundtrack that understands the assignment and delivers with glittery vengeance. Every track brings something fresh, from slick girl group bangers to emotionally rich duets and chaotic demon-boy swagger. Itâs theatrical, itâs empowering, and honestly, it slaps harder than a holy water-soaked bass drop.

- 「Takedown」 â Jeongyeon, Jihyo & Chaeyoung (TWICE)
This one kicks things off with main character energy. Itâs bold, loud, and has that perfect blend of idol polish and end-of-the-world urgency. Like, yesâgive me that apocalyptic girl group power ballad. Letâs go. - 「How Itâs Done」 â HUNTR/X
This is the song that plays in your head when you’re walking into a room knowing you’re that b*tch. Confident, catchy, and sharp as a blade. Rumi, Mira, and Zoey absolutely own this track. - 「Golden」 â HUNTR/X
This one’s more emotional, with a cinematic feel that somehow makes you want to cry and punch a demon in the face. A standout performance moment, especially if you’re following Rumiâs arc. - 「Soda Pop」 & 「Your Idol」 â Saja Boys
The demon boy band tracks? ICONIC. âSoda Popâ is a sugar rush, and âYour Idolâ is pure tongue-in-cheek charm. Theyâre chaotic and catchy in the best way, and honestly, Iâd stan them⌠if they werenât literal demons. - 「Free」 â Rumi & Jinu
A soft, haunting duet that got me right in the feels. Itâs tender, vulnerable, and such a nice emotional beat in the middle of all the high-stakes drama. Yes, I got misty-eyed. No, Iâm not sorry.
If youâre a K-pop fan, a soundtrack nerd, or just someone who loves a little drama with their dance breakâtrust me, this oneâs worth adding to your playlist. Immediately.
