In 2021, Naniwa Danshi hooked me with the addictive sounds of their sugar-sweet debut—and I’ve been ride-or-die ever since. For the past four years, I’ve followed every release, caught every concert, and done my best to keep up with as many of their dramas and TV appearances as possible.
I’ve loved watching them grow.

The release of their Unit Song Digest YouTube video for their upcoming 4th studio album, BON BON VOYAGE, is a testament to their growth. The video showcases three tracks, each with a distinct mood, but all echoing the same undeniable truth: Naniwa Danshi is not just a group of cute little idols anymore. ｢Devil or Angel｣ (Shunsuke Michieda × Kyohei Takahashi)
Stylish. Striking. Sexy. The dark visuals, those seductive eyes, and some pretty suggestive dance moves show just how far they’ve come from the bright colors and melodic cuteness of ｢初心LOVE｣. Fans on social media are gushing: “MichiKyohe is peak cool!”
｢TOYSTYLE｣ (Ryusei Onishi × Kento Nagao)
This one is still pure pop sunshine—bright, cute, and full of bouncy energy – exactly as I would expect Nagao and Onishi to be in real life. It screams CM Theme song for a family arcade or theme park. Fans are calling it “the perfect Pinabata vibe,” a nod to its sweet, summery feeling.
｢アダルティー｣ (Adulty) (Daigo Nishihata × Joichiro Fujiwara × Kazuya Ohashi)
As the name suggests, the sights and sounds of this track add a lot of grown-up glamour to the group. Hotel room settings, the way those bathrobes slip off their shoulders (I’m looking at you, Nishihata), and the perfect bedroom lighting—one fan summed it up perfectly: “I’m already dying from the teaser. The full version might actually finish me off.”
