When it comes to Lilo & Stitch, one of my favorite things about the film has always been the music. My grandmother was a massive Elvis fan, so I grew up surrounded by his songs—and 「Burning Love」 quickly became one of my all-time favorites. (Though, if I’m being totally honest—and please don’t tell my grandma—I’ve always had a soft spot for Wynonna Judd’s version from the 2002 animated film.)

So when I heard that Travis Japan would be putting their own spin on the iconic track for the new film, I was instantly intrigued. 「Burning Love」 is the kind of song that transcends genre, generation, and now, language—and I couldn’t wait to hear how these seven unique tigers would make it their own.

At first, I expected the song to be recorded in English—but hearing it in Japanese adds a whole new layer of charm. Travis Japan has taken this summer-rock classic and spun it into a glittering pop bop, bursting with pitch-perfect harmonies and their signature TJ energy. And now that the brain tiger himself—Noel—is back in the mix, there’s an extra dose of magic that only he can bring.

In short, it’s not what I expected. It’s even better.  Great job, guys!

There will be more TJ soon so…
