As a lifelong Jem and the Holograms fan, I can hardly contain my excitement—new music from our favorite pop princess of the ’80s is officially on the way! Britta Phillips, the original singing voice of Jem, has re-recorded SIX classic tracks for a 40th-anniversary album, bringing a fresh yet nostalgic sound to the songs that literally defined my childhood!

The tracks will be released on digital and a special vinyl that will include the ｢Jem theme｣ song, ｢Only The Beginning｣,｢Truly Outrageous｣, ｢Like A Dream｣, ｢I Got My Eye On You｣ and ｢She’s Got The Power｣. 

While a release date for the vinyl / full digital release isn’t until July —the official release of reimagined theme (as well as the instrumental) has dropped on Spotify and Apple Music, giving us a taste of what’s to come! You can also purchase a 24-Bit/48 kHz stereo Hi-Res version through Qobuz!

For those who want to relive the magic of the doll, The Loyal Subjects have also begun releasing new Jem and the Holograms dolls, capturing the iconic style and spirit of the original series.  It’s the perfect time to reconnect with the band that taught us that being truly outrageous never goes out of style
