With over 100 million cumulative streams(including 20 million YouTube views of the official MV), it’s clear the track still resonates with longtime fans and new listeners alike.

Now, with the release of ｢Chankapana (English Version)｣, NEWS invites the world to experience the track through a fresh lens—one that amplifies its exotic luster and colorful worldview while staying true to its flirty, unforgettable charm. The English lyrics breathe new life into the beloved single, showcasing the group’s commitment to evolving as artists while embracing their legacy.

In a nod to their roots, the accompanying digital single artwork evokes the original 2012 cover, but with a matured edge. ｢Chankapana (English Version)｣ will also be released with two accompanying B-sides: The original 2012 version as well as the remastered 2023 version recorded for their 20th anniversary album NEWS EXPO.
