Set on the picturesque Prince Edward Island in Canada, Anne Shirley (アン・シャーリー) follows the journey of an orphan named Anne Shirley, who is accidentally sent to live with Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert at their home, Green Gables. Despite the mix-up, the Cuthberts decide to keep Anne, and she soon finds deep friendship, love, and joy in her new life.

Produced by The Answer Studio, the 24 episode series premiered on 5 April and is directed by Hiroshi Kawamata.

The opening theme song is “Yokan” (予感, Premonition) performed by Tota, while the ending theme “Heart”, is performed by Laura day romance. 

Crunchy Roll will streaming the series for western audiences.
