The release of Travis Japan’s sixth single comes with many firsts. For starters, it’s the first (and hopefully only) to feature just six of the group’s seven members, as Noel is currently on hiatus for a mental recharge. It also marks their first double A-side single. Most exciting of all, it’s the first to be released both digitally and as a physical version!

The second release, 「Tokyo Crazy Night」 takes a different approach, bringing the after-dark energy. The music video keeps it simple yet striking, featuring the group in sleek, sexy leather outfits—doing what they do best: dancing. A true club anthem, the song also serves as the theme for the ABC TV drama Tokyo Camouflage Hour (トーキョーカモフラージュアワー), starring Travis Japan’s own Kaito ‘Machu’ Matsukura in his first starring role!

Based on the popular manga of the same name, the story centers on Hiroto Utsunomiya, a soft-spoken guy from Yamagata who suddenly finds himself uprooted and thrown into the chaos of Tokyo. Hoping for a fresh start, he gets way more than he bargained for when a whirlwind “one-night” encounter with a sharp, older city woman turns his world upside down. What follows is a journey of love, self-discovery, and the bittersweet realities of urban life, blending sharp humor with plenty of heart.

“This is my first time starring in a drama series.” Machu said in a message to fans. “I’m fully committed to living as Hiroto Utsunomiya in this story. I’ll give it my all, so please look forward to it!”

Looks like a Tokyo Crazy Night indeed, Machu!

The series is penned by comedian Hiccorohee, as her writing debut.

As their first physical single release, the CD will be available wherever Japanese music and movies are sold, including CD Japan. Fans can choose from three different formats, each featuring additional songs and exclusive behind-the-scenes video content. A special Universal Music Store exclusive edition will also include footage from the global leg of their Road to A tour, making it a must-have for collectors.

Kicking off the year strong, Travis Japan is currently in the midst of the Japanese leg of their second world tour, promoting their sophomore album, VIIsual. Between photo shoots, recording sessions, and filming for TV series and movies, one thing is certain—this group never slows down!

I can’t wait to see what’s next so…

Stay Tuned!
