King & Prince, the sexy duo under STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, has just announced their 16th single, ｢HEART｣ and it will be the theme song to group member Ren Nagase’s newest drama Love Is Hard for a Rich Man (御曹司に恋はムズすぎる).
“This is a love song from King & Prince, dedicated to our fans,” Nagase said. We’ve crafted the perfect song for the drama ‘Gosoji ni Love is Too Unsud’ by combining various ideas for the lyrics and sound. I hope the ‘heart arrow’ in the lyrics will point straight to everyone’s hearts.”
“This is a quintessential royal love song that truly embodies the essence of the current King & Prince,” Takahashi added. “I’d be thrilled if all our dreams and love could be carried by this song and delivered straight to the hearts of our fans.”
The single will be available on 12 March in digital and CD formats. The physical releases will feature tons of behind-the-scenes and bonus content across three separate editions and will be available wherever Japanese music and movies are sold, including CD JAPAN!
Love Is Hard for a Rich Man will start airing on 7 January and broadcast every Tuesday night on Fuji TV / Kansai TV in Japan. The series will also feature STARTO Talent Daigo Nishihata of Naniwa Danshi!
King & Prince will also participate in the “2025 Super Superstar Red and White Entertainment Awards,” set to air in Taiwan on 28 January, the eve of the Chinese New Year. The prestigious year-end music show features top Asian artists from Taiwan, Greater China, and Korea, performing live in a head-to-head Red vs. White format. This marks King & Prince’s first-ever appearance on a Taiwanese music program.
