As I have decided to spend the first two weeks of 2025 in the vibrant and beautiful city of Tokyo, it feels only fitting to kick off the year with STARTO ENTERTAINMENT! While it’s something I would have done regardless, there’s an undeniable magic in starting this year surrounded by such inspiration. This time, it feels extra special.
NANIWA DANSHI
The sweetest and most sparkling stars in J-POP have had an absolutely incredible year! As 2025 approaches, they’re set to embark on their first WORLD TOUR—a milestone that promises even more unforgettable moments. Speaking of highlights, who could forget the hilarity of poor Onishi’s popper refusing to pop? Truly a year to remember!
SNOW MAN
While Naniwa Danshi brings the sweetness, Snow Man delivers the sweat—and plenty of laughs to go with it! My favorite moment of the night? Hands down, Iwamoto and Watanabe’s hilarious cover of Meguro and Sakuma’s ‘HOT FLOW’ (for obvious reasons). But let’s not forget the ever-charismatic Koji Mukai—he was unforgettable!
SixTONES
One of the absolute highlights of 2024 was experiencing SixTONES live at the Tokyo Dome during their unforgettable VVS concert, and this trip will end with the release of GOLD, their fifth studio album. My Favorite moment of the night? Watching Shintaro claim the title of leader for 2025 in the most iconic way possible—with a thrilling game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
TRAVIS JAPAN
Travis Japan holds a special place in my heart and this trip to Tokyo is all about experiencing their full splendor on their home turf for their VIIsual tour! After seeing them twice in the States, I knew I had to witness the magic they bring to the stage here. I honestly cannot wait.
Ae! group
2024 was a monumental year for Ae! group with their much-anticipated debut. Now, 2025 is already shaping up to be even bigger with the release of their first album, D.N.A. Watching them grow has been such a joy, and I can’t wait to see where this incredible journey takes them next!

Thanks to these guys, my 2025 is already brimming with magic. With each performance, every release, and the boundless passion they pour into their craft, these groups have inspired me so much and continue to remind us all of the joy and connection music brings. I can’t wait to see where this year takes them—and all of us who get to share in the magic.
