The highly anticipated GMMTV drama, ThamePo: Heart That Skips a Beat (เธม-โป้ Heart That Skips a Beat), has finally made its debut, and – in typical GMMTV Fashion – the first episode does not disappoint.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Thailand’s burgeoning pop music scene, the series introduces audiences to the talented members of the popular boy group LYKN (ไลแคน) in their first starring roles as a group. The series also stars Supha Sangaworawong (Est) in his first lead role.
The story follows Po (Est), a young man reeling from a painful breakup, who is given the opportunity of a lifetime when he is hired to direct a documentary about the boyband MARS. The talented members of LYKN—William (วิลเลี่ยม), Lego (เลโก้), Tui (ตุ้ย), Hong (ฮง), and Nut (นัด)—bring their characters to life as Thame, Nano, Pepper, Dylan, and Jun, respectively. A fan of the group, Po learns that the concert the documentary is being shot around will be the groups last. MARS is disbanding.
William exudes a magnetic charm, even though he’s initially portrayed as a complete and total jackass. On the other hand, Est’s portrayal of Po is the polar opposite—emotionally raw, deeply compassionate, and irresistibly sweet.
Singed to Riser Music (ไรเซอร์มิวสิค) under GMMTV (จีเอ็มเอ็มทีวี) LYKN was formed through the music survival competition series Project Alpha in 2023. Since their debut single, May I, the groups music has released multiple singles and their music has been featured in several GMMTV dramas including Kidnapped starring Ohm Pawat.
Airing on GMM 25 in Thailand, international fans can stream the series on the official GMMTV YouTube page with new episodes every Friday.
There will be more ThamePo soon so…
