For Naniwa Danshi’s 7th single, the group did something a little bit different. They music their music to tell a story with the lead track is the theme song for the movie We Don’t Know Love Yet (Koi wo Shiranai Bokutachi wa) starring group member Ryusei Onishi.

🕸️A TANGLED WEB OF EMOTIONS😍

Adapted from the manga of the same name, Onishi shines as Eiji Aihara, who was inseparable from his middle school bestie Naohiko Bessho (Airu Kubozuka) – that is, until the arrival of a girl who – a one time – occupied Aihara’s tweenage heart. But before he can muster the courage to confess, Bessho swoops in and snatches her away, leaving Eiji confused and alone without even his best friend to confide in. Fast-forward to high school, where all three are navigating the ups and downs of adolescence together… until a mysterious fourth player enters the scene, sending their already complicated relationships into a whirlwind of emotional chaos.

Written exclusively for the film, the song’s infectious melody and catchy chorus perfectly capture the thrill, angst, and uncertainty of young love.

What sets this single about from the others is that B-side tracks 

The B-side song for all versions is “Kimi to Kaze to”. Also, for the first time, the B-side songs included in each version are a conceptual project in which four songs tell one story. Based on the theme of “the season we were in”, the story depicts the changes in one protagonist’s feelings as the seasons change.

Another number one hit, KOISURU HIKARI has spent all 13 weeks since its release on the Oricon charts in Japan. However, since it is so new, final sales numbers have yet to be announced.  KOISURU HIKARI has achieved double platinum status by the RIAJ. Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

KOISURU HIKARI is the first of Naniwa Danshi’s singles to be released on digital platforms at the same time as its physical release.
