Kento Nakajima (中島健人) is stepping out of the shadows of his past and into a brand new spotlight. One where he stands alone – as a solo artist. It was recently announced that his debut album N / bias would drop on 25 December and in preparation he’s released his the lead track “PICARESQUE” (“ピカレスク”) – and it’s a banger!
This genre-bending track combines dark dance beats, pop, R&B, techno, and classical elements, creating an exhilarating symphonic experience. The music video is equally captivating, featuring fire, fashion, and the destruction of an abandoned office. Of course there are elements of fashion and dance that the performer Nakajima holds dear, but “PICARESQUE” marks a bold new direction that shatters previous stereotypes of who and what he used to be.
Forget what you know. This is an all new Kenty. And I am loving him.
You can preorder “N / bias” wherever Japanese CDs are sold, including CD JAPAN. The album will feature bonus tracks and behind-the-scenes video content across three separate editions.
There will be more Nakajima soon so…
Stay Tuned!
