There’s a reason I’m so excited to get the home video release of SixTONES VVS tour. I was there. Lost in the midst of the chaotic fever dream Juri Tanaka (田中樹) caused with the sly lick of his middle finger. A provocative gesture he knew was going to set the done for the following song. Fitting for a song called Drama. But it didn’t end there because, SixTONES know they’re sexy and with confident, but not cocky attitudes, know just what buttons to push to make the girls, the guys, and everyone in between fluster beneath the heat of their sensuality.

I speak from person experience as my heart still quickens every time I heard the I Jesse’s laughter at the beginning of RAM-PAM-PAM. They know what they’re doing – and they’re damn good at it. Still, nothing could have prepared me for the pandemonium that erupted when Yugo Kochi (髙地優吾) tore open his shirt. The crowd’s reaction was THUNDEROUS, a deafening roar that still echoes in my mind – my voice mixed among the frenzied crowd. For such a small statued cutie. He packs a punch.

This video barely scratches the surface of the raw energy and unbridled passion that SixTONES brought to the stage. Five months out and I’m trying to process the whirlwind of emotions that came with finally seeing them live for the first time. It was a dizzying day-dream come true, and and experience I won’t soon forget. I’m already counting down the days until I can relive the magic once again.

Dropping on 16 October, You can still pre-order VVS anywhere Japanese music and movies are sold, including CD JAPAN!
