Along with the secrets of the magical truth…
I’ll be brief. I loved Agatha All Along. Even more than WandaVision. Kathryn Hahn is a national treasure, Patti LuPone is a legend, Debra Jo Rupp is a comedic genius, and Aubrey Plaza is just wickedly weird. While I know “Heartstopper” is a major thing – especially in the BL community – it’s not a series I’ve sat down to watch yet (yes, I know, you can have my gay card). Joe Locke is adorable, though his accent does slip every so often. Ali Ahn is great, and Sasheer Zamata is going to be my new favorite.

The new series kicked off with a clever twist, presenting itself as a true-crime drama with intro credits that listed the characters’ fictional names instead of the actors’ real ones. This nod to the original series was absolute genius. I also can’t help but cackle at the ultra-conservatives who have labeled it a “gay recruitment video”. Let’s be real, it’s a show about witches – did they really think it wouldn’t have a little bit of queerness woven in?
The sacred chant version of The Ballad of the Witches’ Road is spooky and haunting and perfect to usher in the season of magic.
Agatha All Along is currently streaming on Disney+
