One of the reasons I stepped away from Western television is that they often craft intricate, multi-season storylines without knowing if the show will even make it past the first season.
Netflix’s KAOS is the latest example of this infuriating trend.
⛔️⛔️⛔️WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD⛔️⛔️⛔️
A series about a modern world where Zeus reigns supreme as the King of Olympus, the show is incredibly well-written, with a phenomenal cast that brings these complex and well-known characters to life in a way I’ve never seen before.

I was completely invested in the story, only to be left hanging on a massive cliffhanger. And as of today (September 2), there’s still no word on whether we’ll ever get to see what happens next. It’s maddening to think that we might never get resolution on what’s happened now that the gods have lost their powers.
Jeff Goldblum is, as always, a national treasure, and Aurora Perrineau and Misia Butler as Riddy and Caneus are the best part of the series. Their storyline was beautiful, and I’m desperate to know what’s in store for them. But given Netflix’s recent track record of canceling shows like Dead Boy Detectives, FATE, and Julie and the Phantoms without giving them a chance to wrap up, I’m not holding my breath.

It’s frustrating to think that we might never get to see the full potential of KAOS realized. These characters and storylines deserve better than to be left dangling in limbo. I can only hope that somehow, someway, we’ll get to find out what happens next.
Also, Billie Piper as Cassandra. Who is she? What is her significance!?!? I MUST KNOW MORE! But until there’s an official announcement, I’m stuck in cliffhanger purgatory, which I hate with a passion.
HOPEFULLY there will be more KAOS soon so…
Stay Tuned (I guess)?
