Last night, as I waited for the Gemini Fourth: Rule the World Concert to start streaming (1700 BKK = 0300 PST), I started watching the new Netflix series KAOS, which offers a glimpse into what a modern world would look like if the Olympians had remained in power (and, you know, really existed).

It was interesting.

Jeff Goldblum is a neurotic Zeus, Janet McTeer looks as though she will be pitch-perfect (and funny as heck) Hera, and Nabhaan Rizwan is incredibly sexy as the ever-ready-to-party Dionysus.

The basic premise is that the twilight of the Gods is upon the Olympians, and it will be caused by three humans, who (as of episode one) are only starting to figure out who and what they are. Two of the humans are Orpheus – the legendary bard – played by Killian Scott, and his wife Riddy (Eurydice) – played by Aurora Perrineau, who is (as she always is) brilliant.

While I only made it through the first episode, it’s been a long time since an American series piqued my interest like this. It’s really well done – and a lot of fun! I can’t wait to see where it goes!

More KAOS soon so…

Stay Tuned!
