The girl with the giggles Is laughing her way into the new Rainbow Brite line from The Loyal Subjects – and she is one of the most adorable of the releases so far!

For those unfamiliar with the pink pixie: Tickled Pink is a delightful little girl who came to visit Rainbow Land a long time ago and, because she liked it so much, decided to stay! Rainbow Brite put her in charge of the Girl Sprites in their Color Crystal laboratories. Tickled Pink has a non-stop case of the giggles and they’re contagious! She’s even managed to get a hint of giggle out of Murky Dismal! Everyone in Rainbow Land counts on her to brighten each day with laughter … and with a touch of pink!

A ROSE-TINTED REVIVAL

Tickled Pink was one of the last dolls released from the original 1980s line though was one of the earliest of the characters created.

Released as a “Dress-Up” style with Rainbow Brite and Moonglow in the 190s, Tickled Pink was one of the characters that enjoyed a re-release in 2015 for the 30th anniversary.

As cute as they were, neither of the releases have anything on what The Loyal Subjects have done.

First of all, I absolutely LOVE her cutesie little Punky Brewster face of the 12″ rag doll! The freckles, the cherub-like cheeks, every piece of this mold was sculpted with the utmost care and love for the character. Like Moonglow, she Incredibly screen accurate to the animated release and is bound to be the favorite of anyone who loves pastel.

Joining the rag doll is a 5.5″ fashion doll, an 8″ plush as well as the 5 below Cheebee exclusive.

PINKALICIOUS PERFECTION

With so much product to collect I am having a hard time deciding which part of the line is my favorite. The screen-accurate rag dolls are incredibly well-made and a nice addition against my 1980s Mattel collection The Plush dolls are lovable decoration pieces and the fashion dolls are also cute as a button and are going to be so much fun to pose together.

I am very impressed with what TLS is doing and I can’t WAIT to see what comes next!
