SixTONES. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways… I have loved you for four albums, twelve singles, and 165 songs. As you release your 13th (a double a-side) single, I get to add eight more.

One of the things I love about SixTONES is how versatile their sound is. One minute, they’re rock gods raising our heartbeats with their own brand of sex and sensuality, the next, they’re the most romantic guys in the world, melting those quickening hearts with their tender smiles and soft voices. They do both in their latest single.

GONG
The insert song to ACMA: GAME, starring group member Juri Tanaka. This song has quickly become one of my favorites in the group. An epic pop/rock track of fighting to be yourself, it’s one of those tracks that prove why SixTONES are the rulers of their own unique sound.

ここに帰ってきて” (English: “Come Back Here“)
The theme song to the feature film Secret: A Hidden Score starring group member Taiga Kyomoto, it’s a sonic 180 from “GONG”. Soft, slow, and romantic the song is incredibly sweet and focuses on the beauty of the breadth of the group’s vocal power.

Spicy
There is an old-school rock-n-roll sound to this Commercial song to Mercedes-Benz’s electric car (the new EQA/EQB). It’s is pure unadulterated fun and there is plenty of the wild sex appeal SixTONES have become known for.

音色 (English: NIERO) – Memorial Orchestra Rearrange –
I didn’t think it was possible for the original version of this track to get more beautiful, but once again, SixTONES show there’s nothing they cannot do. The original video, filled with sweet sentimentality is even more emotional when paired with this rearrangement.

Medley from「VVS」at 京セラドーム大阪 (Outrageous ~ ABARERO -Dark Electro Rock Remix-)” / “Medley from「VVS」at 京セラドーム大阪 (君がいない ~ Alright)
I was there. Among 55 THOUSAND other people, I witnessed the magic SixTONES firsthand. It is an experience I will NEVER forget. Also, “Outrageous” is one of my all-time favorite songs in the group.

Out now, the single is available wherever Japanese music and movies are sold, including CD Japan
