There’s a particular type of duality about a guy with a guitar is there not? On the one hand, he’s gentle and sweet, handling his instrument like it’s the most precious thing in the world to him – a valiant and steadfast friend he can strum any time of the day or night. Then, on the other hand, he’s on stage shredding it like his life depends on it – lost in a fevered frenzy of sound he knows will drive us all to the brink.
One such guitarist is Yoshinori Masakado (正門良規) from Ae! group.
Born on the 28th of November, this brown-eyed adonis joined the agency when he was still in middle school after watching the movie “Kurosagi,” starring Tomohisa Yamashita, a former member of the incredibly popular NEWS.
Shortly after signing with the agency, he became a member of Ae Shonen (Aぇ少年). This short-lived Kansai Jr. unit also included Ren Nagase of King & Prince and Daigo Nishihata from Naniwa Danshi.
Masakado joined Ae! group in 2019 and as both the group and fans often mention, he is one of the double-centers, along with Seiya Suezawa, of the group. A drinker of rooibos tea, he also enjoys modern literature, baseball, and tennis. He also loves denim. So, in the mind of this Montana born – wannabe romance novelist – he’s an athletic romantic with great taste and style!
So,He is a perfect choice to be an ambassador for FILA with his Ae! group brethren!
As the first group to debut under the newly restructured STARTO ENTERTAINMENT all eyes are on Masakado and the rest of Ae! group and their success has not gone unnoticed. Their debut single – 《A》BEGINNING – was the best-selling debut in recent memory, with the limited edition bundle of all three versions selling out on CD Japan within 24 hours.
Honestly, the track slaps – and these guys deserve all of the accolades and success that are coming their way.
